How starter workspace data works

Opt-in only

Starter workspace data never appears by default. You create it from the empty state of any module, or from Settings → Starter data.

Always labeled

• Every starter record carries an is_sample flag in the database.
• Starter text is prefixed with [STARTER].
• Pages displaying starter records show a 'Starter workspace data is shown for exploration only' notice.

Removing starter workspace data

Open Settings → Starter data, review the per-table count, and click 'Delete starter data'. Only records with is_sample = true are removed; your real data is untouched.
